- Artist’s statement: The nature of my work stems from photographing those things around me that I love the most. My family, my home, my garden, my dog. My intense love for color is the driving passion behind my work. I LOVE bright, vivid, bold, color. Color is God’s joyful expression of LIFE. To enjoy life in its fullness is to see the blue skies, the white clouds, the green grass. I believe that if we see clearly(that is, in His light), that we shall be able to ENJOY all the colors that surround us. Enjoying life means more than having things, but enjoying the things we have. Those things in our lives which bring the most joy are things not made by man but created by God.
